Dear Partners,
Good sanitation is one of the most effective tools for preventing neglected tropical diseases. When streets are clean and drains flow freely, disease-carrying insects and harmful bacteria have fewer opportunities to spread illness.
Unfortunately, many neighborhoods in Mararaba struggle with inadequate waste management and environmental sanitation. As a result, vulnerable families face increased risks of infections, waterborne diseases, and NTDs that affect health and economic productivity.
Our project combines community cleanup activities with public health education to address both the causes and consequences of poor sanitation. Participants will learn practical steps to maintain cleaner surroundings while helping remove waste from high-risk areas.
Donations directly support waste collection efforts, volunteer mobilization, hygiene awareness campaigns, and community engagement activities. Every dollar helps protect families from preventable diseases and contributes to healthier neighborhoods.
By supporting this initiative, you are investing in disease prevention, public health, and community well-being. Together, we can reduce the burden of neglected tropical diseases and create lasting improvements in environmental sanitation.
