Clean, safe, and healthy school environment project is a community effort to provide school children with school materials, food, buildings and access to healthcare in a low income population in Africa Sub-Sahara. The trend is that lower income children drop out the most from school due to poverty and lack of appropriate care. Furthermore, it'll become difficult for them to succeed later on in their adulthood since they do not have skills and fall easily in hardship and an imaginable poverty.
Today millions of children are attending schools in hazardous and unhealthy environment, without any fault on their own in sub-Saharan Africa (Togo, Ghana, Liberia..) This is exposing their fragile bodies to infectious and chronic diseases. Our project is a community effort to promote a healthy school environment in urban and rural areas for young boys and girls to thrive in education. As they say, "It takes a whole village to raise a child". Let's give a lifetime chance to children to success.
There are many ways we can achieve this goal, such as restoring old school buildings or building a new one equipped with hygiene facilities, library, gym, and green space. Sponsoring schools clinics, health programs, children immunization and nutrition programs and much more will make a difference in low income communities throughout Africa Sub-Saharan.
Giving that earlier opportunity to children to thrive assures their appropriate physical, intellectual and emotional development, we must work to provide safe, and healthy education places for them. A healthy educational environment enhances children's full development to become healthy, responsible and productive adults. Our future society viability and success depends on the action we take today. Children will perform well during their lifetime when they received appropriate care they need.
