Provision of clean drinking water facility to 2531 most poor families of Union Council Naseerabad district Jaffarabad Balochistan Pakistan. The proposed area communities are getting drinking water from open water ponds in which water stored for more than 4 months and this open stored water jointly utilize by human and animal. therefore community especially women, girls and children are facing very hurdles and there are prevailing many diseases like Dirihea, , malaria, Hepatitis B and C.
There are living 2531 poor farmers families and majority of the farmers are Tenants and have no own agriculture Lands. The poor community is facing very hurdles and problems due to the lack and insufficient basic needs of life like Water and Sanitation, Health, Education and Shelter. The main social problem of poor community is safe drinking water, which is not available to poor community. Due to poverty and lack of resources community is drinking water from ponds and canals which is not safe.
BSDSB is proposing the following solution to tackle the above mentioned problem of UC Naseerabad district Jaffarabad that also the objectives of the proposed project. To provide the 80 communal underground Hand Pumps to 20 most poor villages of the Union Council Naseerabad district Jaffarabad Balochistan for the provision of safe and clean drinking water to vulnerable communities. . To provide hygiene awareness to 2531 poor families through proper hygiene sessions.
The safe and clean drinking water facility will be provided to 2531 Men, women and children. The water borne diseases such as Dirhea, malaria, Hepatitis B and C and kidney stone will be decreased in the targeted area. The hurdle of children and women that fetching water from long distance will be resolved in the targeted area. The hygiene condition of children, women and domestic will be improved through utilization of proper water facility and hygiene awareness
