Parents are often not able to afford even basic necessities, as many families fled with just what they were wearing. Life is stressful enough for victims of violence but even more so at this time of year if you are worrying about the possibility of not having a Christmas/Seasonal Holiday gift for your child/ren on Christmas Day.

Working with the Women's Aid Federation, The Rotary Christmas Toy Box appeal will provide Christmas/ Seasonal Holiday gifts, gender and age appropriate, to at risk children living in refuges. Receiving gifts will reduce parents anxiety, bring some normality to family life and an awareness of there being kindness in the world.
Help break the cycle of abuse in at risk families. Reduce anxiety and mental health issues due to additional stress over the holiday period. Promote building healthy social and personal skills in vulnerable children.
