Thank you everyone for your donations! Because of your generosity, The Children's Home has been able to provide nutritious meals, a safe place to live, and new clothes to wear for the children in our care. The Children's Home has also been able to provide medical services for our children which in some cases are urgently needed.
The contributions that we have received help the 50 children living on our residential healing campus and allow us to cover their basic needs but also help us provide healing services so that we can help them get ready to function in a family setting. Most of the children residing on our healing campus have suffered some of the most egregious abuse and neglect at the hand of someone they trusted. When they come to us, it is urgent that we help them begin to heal from the trauma they have experienced, so that they can learn to trust adults, create meaningful relationships, and eventually re-enter a family environment.
It is critical that we get to these kids as soon as possible so that they have a chance at finding a forever family and living a fulfilling life of happiness. We continue to need your help to provide ongoing care, as most of the children living with us reside on our campus for 9 - 11 months, are between the ages of 6 - 17, and require day to day support by professional and loving staff to heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect.
