Thank you everyone for your donations! Your donations have helped The Children's Home be able to provide clothing and essentials for back to school, nutritious meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner, new bedding, sheets and pillows so each child feels at "home."
The contributions that we have received help the 50 children living on our residential healing campus and allow us to cover their basic needs but also help us provide healing services so that we can help them get ready to function in a family setting.
We continue to need your help to provide ongoing care, as most of the children living with us reside on our campus for 8 - 9 months, are between the ages of 6 - 17, and require day to day support by professional and loving staff to heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect.
Providing nutritious meals is essential for the children in our care. In most cases they have not learned about different types of food, what they like to eat or why it is important to eat. Their previous experiences have usually been such that our kids have been left to fend for themselves and make poor nutrition decisions. We need your help to continue to provide meals for our children, especially entering the Holiday Season. We work hard to provide a safe and nurturing environment so that they feel provided for and loved. Will you help us continue to make that a reality?
