Phase 1: Our selected group of young boys will be the inaugural group of our leadership academy which will begin with education. Children will be provided with a safe learning environment and provided elementary and high school level courses with clothing, boarding, and food inclusive.
The use of children for sex trafficking and child soldiering in conflict zones is rarely detected or prevented and the networks in place for these inhumane practices to continue to happen are in regions where local authorities have no training to prevent or detect. During our 'fact-finding' mission, it was discovered that the Government of the Republic of South Sudan did not adequately have the appropriate investigative, prosecution, and judicial systems in place to meet full compliance.

The goal is to train local authorities on how to combat and detect human trafficking tailored to their region while providing support and services to assist local governments in reducing and ending human trafficking in their own regions. The UN-estimated 20,000unaccompanied minors in refugee camps or moving between camps, particularly while crossing the Kenya-South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo-South Sudan border, were vulnerable to recruitment as child soldiers or sex workers.
