AMANC (first NGO in Mexico to help children with cancer, since 1982) commited with the development of an intelligent digital platform that facilitates the detection of child cancer and speed up the start of the treatment. State of Mexico joins in this national effort to raise the rate of early detection and survival of pediatric patients in our country.
One of the main health issues in Mexico is the high incidence of childhood cancer. That's why AMANC is generating a digital platform that allows us to reach millions of people with information on how to avoid risk factors for cancer and how to identify signs and symptoms of the most common types of childhood cancer. For this purpose, a multidisciplinary national team will be in charge of monitoring the call center and the digital platform.
Providing specific guidance to the population in general through a digital platform, in cases of suspected cancer in children and teenagers so they can access quickly, remotely and health services free of charge, providing follow-up for timely detection or attention . That is to say, a web page with a simple interface will be generated that allows any person, regardless of educational and socioeconomic level, to interact with the platform.
More people will be informed, decrease in the national rate of late detection of child cancer, in the pediatric cancer mortality rate.
