This Project is aimed at Impacting Children, Youths, Women and School dropouts in Kampala areas and other surrounding areas such as Wakiso, Bombo and Masaka, by equipping them with Various craft making skills. As a result many people will be able to make their own crafts that can be sold and contribute towards earning income for their self Sustainability. This project will be done through conducting weekly,monthly and occasionally trainings to our targeted beneficiaries.
There is about 1.2Million youths and School dropouts in Uganda who are unemployed. This is as a result of many Job Seekers than Job creators. Because of this many youths have resorted to committing crimes inform of practicing theft and robber, murder cases are also many, because youths don't work, they are only after stealing another people's money by stealing.
Through our Project, Makindye Children's Hope will train these people on how to make crafts as a form of creating opportunities for them to be empowered economically, for future self-sustainability. At the end of this project many Job Creators in Uganda will be created rather than Job Seekers, hence solving the problem of Unemployment and living under the poverty live.
1. At the end of this project about 2000 beneficiaries will be exposed to various skills of craft making and be able to create them for sustainability. 2. At the end of this project an Online Shop Website will be designed to let our beneficiaries sell their products to further countries online. 3. At the end of this project a training center will remain at Makindye Children's Main Office centers to act as a home for consultation and for those who want to gain further skills will be trained.
