2014 is shaping up to be a great year for Casting 4 A Cure and our support of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation's research and family support programs. We held our first annual C4C golf classic in association with Chimy's restaurant chain in Ft. Worth TX in April. We were able to raise over $10,000, which was really fantastic for our first time out. We are looking to build on that success next year.
We are already sold out for our Victor, ID Casting 4 A Cure event to be held August 21-24 and looking forward to raising funds and awareness at what has become our premier event of the year. We have increased our participation numbers for the event and will have over 100 peopl in attendance.
C4C has already donated over $30,000 in 2014 to Rett Syndrome research and family support programs, and we are looking to donate over $100,000 for the year to support the mission of IRSF to find treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome.
