This Project was structure to provide 1000 homeless individuals with a care package, which would include Hygiene products, water bottle for clean drinking water, clean clothes, non-perishable food items and hand written notes of encouragement by volunteers. We plan to identify homeless individuals across New York City that are currently living on the streets and provide them with a care package once a month.
The problem is there is over 63,000 individuals that are considered homeless, whom of those have limited to no access to resources such as hygiene products and toiletries.
This Project was structure to provide 1000 homeless individuals with a care package, which would include Hygiene products, water bottle for clean drinking water, clean clothes, non-perishable food items and hand written notes of encouragement by volunteers. This will give a percentage of homeless individuals resources such as care packages.
This Project will allow individuals to have clean and sanitized bottle for water, hygiene products, clothing and prevent hunger by providing non-perishables food. With a clean container for drinking water for those who are on the street because of homelessness will be able to have clean water, food/snack for a rainy day, toiletries and hygiene products. living on the street do not allow you to have access to these resources.
