ACTS Oregon continues to provide education on ensuring the right use of car seats for children. Our program was faced wtih financial cutbacks and we partnered with community organizations to keep a monthly fitting station in the Portland Metro Area. We have confirmed for 2013 a fitting station within Multnomah County one time per month.
Our relationship with Washington County continues to grow. We have been able to increase our fitting stations there and now have almost one per week. The Washington County partnership continues to grow with outstanding support from Washington County Safe Kids Coalition.
Our program goal is to check more seats and provide more technicians this year then ever before. Currently we have classes and certification programs scheduled at a pace of 2 per month.
