Instruction on correct adjustment of new car seat!

ACTS Oregon was pleased to receive support from 60 donors resulting in total donations of $2,375.  With the average cost of a child safety seat at $40.00, we will be able to provide 60 children with new car seats.  To receive the car seats, families attend a car seat check-up event gettingeducation on the correct adjustment of the car seat to the child and correct installation of the seat in their vehicle.

Donors included friends, families, child passenger safety technicians and families participating in car seat check-up events.   Comments received from families attanding check up events included:

  • Very good instructor - clear and concise
  • So grateful for the help!
  • Service very good for low income families becasue car seat was lower cost.
