There are many types of bullying all carrying equal venom albeit deliberately excluding someone from a group, making mean and vicious remarks, spreading hurtful rumors, verbal and physical abuse, making threats, and cyber bullying. Because bullying takes several forms, it is necessary for NSP to partner with schools, parents, mental health providers and law enforcement to put an end to bullying and bear the burden of accountability. NSP proposes to define and tear the curtains down to expose bullying at every level by empowering its victims. NSP's message is that bullying is a national problem and must not be addressed alone or by any single victim. NSP will teach victims or would be victims how to fight back against aggressive and unwanted behavior by calling it out.
NSP will educate 500 students and train them to be Change Agents to educate all other youth on the impact of bullying and the pain it causes. We will produce a play and DVD's to have in schools and libraries.
