South Africa Volunteer Work Camp Association plans to build a volunteer house to provide accommodation & classrooms for free services to community of Soshanguve, Pretoria. We support with free afternoon after school lessons for children from primary to secondary school especially orphans, less disadvantages children in the community. Help make this project a reality with any help even purchase of bricks, sand, roof material, fence or anything possible.
We help after-school programme, orphanages & unemployed youth by providing volunteer lead programmes and workcamps. We provide a relief for the community in building a better future for them. The volunteer house project will give local and international volunteers a place to stay and connect with the community of Soshanguve. Its all about learning from each other and sharing with the community at large.
The South Africa Volunteer Work Camp Association (SAVWA) will contribute towards the development of South African communities both urban and rural through local, national, regional and international volunteers to work together towards the cultural, economic, socio-political well-being of young people and marginalised persons or groups through empowerment work camps programs and promotion of sustainable development.
The project will connect local and international volunteers to children in the community of Soshanguve and give them an opportunity to empower them and give them a vision that there is more out there and not to only see the small community but the world at large. We want them to dream and break that cycle of poverty they experience everyday.
