Project #12062

Build Classrooms for 3000 Needy Children in Togo

by Mission Vie Comblee (VICO-TOGO)

The population that this project is aimed at is the the poor and those who lack financial means to send their children to school and build proper classrooms, which can resist against fire, strong winds and rains. It's really pity and the only way to help is to build solid classrooms with the necessary items for the children's sound education.

The challenge is that people lack money to build classrooms and pay school fees. The few children who are going to school have seen their classrooms in straw burned by fire or damaged by winds, storms and heavy rains. Children need solid classrooms. This will help the children and the parents as well.

In order to solve this problem, the project will: - Build solid classrooms - Equip every classroom of benches and tables and blackboard - Build a water-closet for the schools - Build a staffroom - Provide to the children school stationery and school items

Long-Term Impact

As the children will be educated, juvenile delinquency and stealing, and the similar things will be avoided. Children after their education will find good jobs and will help for development of their villages. The whole village will benefit from schools structures and premises as a long term-investment, and will have great profit from what children may produce. Peace and joy will be in the whole area.
