The project seeks to train a network of 50 community media journalists in reporting poverty, HIV and AIDS, gender-based violence in rural communities of Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, S-Africa
The project will target community media journalists in the above mentioned countries. These countries have the most challenging media professionalism in the region. Most of the people in these countries are living in rural and poor communities. A network of 50 journslists will eb built - each country will have 10 rural-based journalists and the project will ultimately benefit the rural communities

Local and/or rural communities will read and listen to proper stories about poverty and povery alleviation programmes in the media. The results will motivate communities to use information to initiate proverty alleviation programmes for their develop
