Cooperatives Socoities Were Recent Ones

Map of COOPERATIVES SOCOITIES WERE RECENT ONES One of the strategies that made parts of Buganda to floresent was the establishment of co-operative unions Rakai District borrowed that idea and it established Rakai District Employees savings and credit society(RADESCS) Its Aim was to give simple loans to tis members but at a low interest rate and to save their money for msicellenous affairs but this is what was done; Loan processing period was 2-5 months, big loans were give only to executive members,withdraws took 3-5 months. And it did not meet members expectations which led most of them to stop saving with this cooperative society. Read more.

Saving Scheme

Map of Saving scheme The hardwork of the residents of Bukhungu was finally paying off after 3 years of hard work and perseverance with their business and savings. As a group they had managed to save enough money through their business enough to see all 17 members acquire a plot of land and build homes for themselves. It was an inspiration to other groups to accomondate a savings culture. Read more.

Poverty Eradication

Map of POVERTY ERADICATION We have an organization of pastors that started some time last year park one. This organization have got 30 members of which every member contributes 100 every month. The organization loans its money specifically for the members of the church. Through this I have seen members for business pay school fees for their children and even started micro-small scale farming. Read more.
