-Girls and female teacher don't have proper sanitary facilities, hence their dignity and respect is compromised. This is a great concern for all especially donors who can lender help. -The project will help 420 girls at Kawangwi primary school and reduce high rate of school drop-out among girls -The project is targeting girls and female teachers at the school -The project will build toilets for girls in central region of Malawi. This will help to bring dignity among girls and female teachers.
Kawangwi primary school is located along Lilongwe Salima road in Dowa District in the central region of Malawi, Southern Africa. The school has 872 learners, 429 girls and 443 boys. There are 13 teachers, 2 female teachers and 11 male teachers. The school learning environment is not conducive, especially when it comes to hygiene and sanitation. After the project has been complete we will compare the numbers of the girls before the project and after the project and also by checking attendance on every month for the period of time and at the end of that period we will see the changes in terms of number of girls these will give us the real outcomes of the project if it is yielding the intended purpose.
