In early 2022, we secured land to begin construction on a multi-million Ugandan shilling project to house a vocational school for the visually impaired.
In 2023, we were fortunate to receive $80,000 from two anonymous donors, which allowed us to start phase one of the project. We have now completed the foundation and reached the beam level of the first floor. Once finished, this school will be able to accommodate over 100 visually impaired students.
This vocational school will be the first of its kind in Uganda, offering courses specifically designed to support visually impaired individuals who cannot afford university tuition.
This year, we are focused on raising the remaining $60,000 USD needed to complete the project and tailor the courses to fit the needs of visually impaired students.
Please join us in completing this project in the coming months so that the school can open and begin operating in 2025.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the visually impaired.
