Build a training centre for 500 Ugandan women

On the 30th January Pass It on Trust Uganda received 2047055 Uganda shillings from Global Giving to help us facilitate the set up of the Training Centre,the money that was raised helped us plan and set up the foundationof the Training Centre Only

preparations were carried out like proper demarcation of the land boundaries,clearing of the land took 4 days and purchase of building materials like 5000 Bricks,4 trips of Sand and 20 bags of Cement was also done to allow easy and smooth implementation of the Project

It took 6 builders and 5 women from the women group of Bulondo ( as a support team) one week to complete the set up of the Foundation as it involved alot of team work and coordination of onsite activities

The Foundation of the Training Centre that was set up consisted of  3 Training Rooms,,Literacy/Library Room,Storage Room,OFFice space,small kitchen and cresh

Our major aim of setting up this Training Centre/Centreprise to provide training space and also act as a one stop centrefor young girls,women and seniors to acquire and engage in various personal development and social vocational entrepreneurial activities in Bulondo,Wakiso District

2 out of 5 young mothers,young girls who drop out of school and those who finish primary ad cant afford secondary level have no or limited accessto Vocational services in this area and those who have access have to walk long distances to the nearest Wakiso Town to access such opportunities

We would like to extend our sincere thank you to everyone who has donated,thank you for believingin us and supporting the laying of the foundation of the training centre,This is our first goal acheived on the path to realising  our big dreams

For our next phase of Training Centre,Pass IT On Trust Uganda will,once again participate in the Global Giving Accelerator-starting 12th March 2018 to help us yield more support in the setting up of the complete structure of the Training Centre
