Dear Donors,

It has been a great honour for us to be able to tell you of all the wonderful things YOUR SUPPORT has made possible for our community children.

The students under this support come from a very poor background. Most of their parents are uneducated and they were unable to manage the entire expenses of their family. Moreover to meet out their children’s educational expenses were yet another important responsibility on their shoulders.

Your generous contribution has made a sweeping change in the lives of these children. You have made all this possible this year and we feel lucky to have your support!

Students enrolled to this support have successfully completed their half yearly examinations and most of them have secured good marks with the exception of few who require coaching in certain subjects.

It’s only through your continued support you can help us reach our goal. We will come up with more updates on the project and the beneficiaries soon.

Father’s Name             :           Jayaraman

School                         :           Govt. Adi Dravidar Boys Hr. Sec.School, Thandalaiputhur

J.Rajkumar is studying 9th Std. in Govt. Adi Dravidar Boys Hr. Sec. School, Thandalaiputhur. He belongs to a very poor family. His parents are working as coolies (daily wage labourers). This occupation is not permanent.  They live in a rental house. Sometimes they don’t have money to pay their house rent. There is no electricity in their house. Their income was sufficient only to feed the family. Three meals a day was uncertain for them. They have two children. Only during festive season, they used to have non-vegetarian food and new clothes only once in a year. They were unable to get their children the basic materials required for school.

In August 2012 he was provided with the following educational materials. School Fee, Uniform (two set), inner garments (2 sets), Stationery (pen, pencil, eraser, geometry box), Bathing Soap, Footwear ( 2 sets), Tooth brush and powder (each 3), Talcum powder, hair oil and school bag.

Impact : At the onset, this student was embarrassed to go to school as his parents were unable to provide him with his educational materials on time. Often he borrowed learning guides from his friends, stayed back at school, copied them down and returned home at late hours.

Now with this support, he is able to school without any complexity in his mind. He is able to concentrate on his studies and secure good marks in all his subjects. As most his educational materials are provided, his parents are able to get him his other requirements and also take care of their younger son’s educational needs.
