I just received a message in my inbox from our Program Coordinator, Kabir, in Afghanistan. He recently returned from a visit to the daycare and early childhood education center that you helped us launch a few months ago. In his detailed notes from the trip, he wrote out the following bulleted list of observations.
In his own words, here's what Kabir saw:
The center was in a good condition
Kids were so happy
The teachers and Headmaster were so kind and caring with the kids
The learning process of kids were so good and they have learned lots of things such as the numbers, alphabets, the National Anthem, Hello song, Carpet Weaver song, Grand Father song, Peace Pigeon song, Rabbit song, Teacher song, Spring song, Water song
Morally the kids were so good in comparison to last time
Their interaction to me and others was so good
They are becoming self confident
I noticed an overall development in them in comparison to the last time
so I would say that I am happy with the progress of the daycare
Kabir is happy with the progress of the daycare, and we hope you are as well. On this Giving Tuesday, thank you for giving these 40 boys and girls a chance to be children.
