In these moments of challenge and change, we’re present in our kids lives and also helping the community around us. During the months of March and April, we have given food to about 90 families (some of them Venezuelan citizens), which is around 200 bagged of food.

By May understood that it was not safe and also inoperative to continue with this activity, since we don’t have the logistics infrastructure to do it, at this time we decide that the best way to continue our help to the community was through the Parrish of the area especially their priests that we know well and have all the operative structure to do a good job around giving food within this area.

We also wanted to recognize our children who make a daily effort, most of them with no computers, just one phone to do homeschooling for 4, in places that don't have the proper light and ventilation, so it’s been a hard time for them during the quarantine; so to recognize them we start sending "the happiness kit", consisting of colors, a coloring book, butter and jam, candies… a lot of candies, eggs, milk a little cake, the Bible for kids, and a book of different activities.

As always thanks for your support

In pintando we believe in dreams, we believe that our kids will been able to accomplish their dreams with effort, talent and discipline! One perfect example about this is Mathew

Mathew  is a 13 years old boy, whom dreams to be a professional football player, someday in pintando we meet a guy who is the brother of the owner of  a very good soccer school in Argentina and in Colombia, Lanus Soccer School, they gave us one scholarship for one of our kids, since Mathew is not only a good soccer player but also has good note and very good attitude, we decide to give him that opportunity

Mathews father is also the taxi driver that help us with all the transportation issues, so both of us, pintando and Mathew’s family decide to support him.

He accepts the deal an become one of the best of the school, so he was invited to travel to Orlando Florida (USA) to compete in a football event there

The family have to sell 50 tickets for a contest to found the money for the trip, an pintando also help him to accomplish this goal.

At this moment Mathew is in Orlando, he went to the magic kingdom and now he’s playing in the contest; He also know that effort discipline, God and good luck can bring you to your dreams

This lovely story couldn’t have been told without your support

That's why today we want to thank you with all of our hearts.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our sponsors, those who believe in us

She’s Larissa Safar, no one remembers her last name but all the kids remember her big smile. Whithin Pintando Larissa was a very good volunteer, she inspires our team an also the kids to be more friendly, more proactive. She was always doing something and helping the kids!!!

The day she left it was a mix of emotions,   kids already knew that she must leave on august, because she was a volunteer just for six months, but they want her to stay more.

She is an adventure girl, she was traveling around South America for the last year an after Colombia she was traveling to Peru for 3 months.Larissa came from Switzerland, speaks three languages and is 22, she left in our heart a big paw print.

So, if you are reading this letter, and have a little inclination to be a volunteer, bear in mind that you’re welcome in Pintando Caminos, serving kids its a powerful and transformative experience.

Do not hasitate to serve others is a importan decision for you and for others.

They are Jeison and Carol they have been in Pintando for the last 5 years.
Carol has 12 years and Jeison 11, they live with their grandparents, who love them a lot, their mother works at night so she can't take care of them.
Jeison and Carol are very good at school always have well done and most of the time they get the first places
For the last 2 years, they have been involved in Pintando Caminos as volunteers with some chores. They help other kids with their homework and keep the place organized. Sometimes we support them with food and clothes, and they are also part of our activities (teamwork).
When they grow up Jeison want to be a football player and Carol want to be a doctor , we are sure they are going to accomplish that goal
As always thanks for you donations
