Many children trafficked, forced into prostitution, forced into marriages, migration and labour, have had their basic freedom and dignity stripped from them by traffickers. These are our sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers, and children and they all deserve to be treated with love and respect. ChildHelp will use its helpline, gather data, work human trafficking cases, identify victims, assist survivors, train frontline professionals, reports and refer issues to appropriate authorities.
We want to break the chains, provide rehabilitative services, helplines to respond to victims immediately, raise awareness in communities to address and prevent human trafficking, locate and destroy traffickers operations and strengthen victims' safety net. We will conduct investigations of trafficking in hot spots, execute the raids, arrest and jail the traffickers, and put the children in your safe havens.
ChildHelp's collected data, reports and lessons learnt from such activities will be disseminated and shared with donors and organisations targeting SDGs 8.7 to end slavery, prostitution, forced marriages, migration and labour for replication and up scaling to other communities. ChildHelp will work with other like minded organisations, the government, stakeholders, communities and businesses to end such horrible practices. It is not just about treating the symptom; it's about curing the disease.
