There is serious shortage of toilets and bathroom for the boarding boys at Longido Primary School in Tanzania. There is a high increase of awareness to the importance of education in people and communities' lives. The plan is to build 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets at Longido Primary to enhance 200 pupils' living conditions, increase enrolment, retention, and academic success rate.
There is serious shortage of toilets and bathroom for the boarding boys at Longido Primary School. There is a high increase of awareness to the importance of education in people and communities' lives. This has led to high increase in enrolment rate at Longido Primary School. This has also increased the number of boarding students. Due to large number of students in school, there is a large shortage of bathrooms and toilets for boarding boys.
The plan is to build 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets at Longido Primary to enhance pupils' living conditions, increase enrolment, retention, and academic success rate. Having enough and safe bathrooms and toilets for the boarding students will solve the challenges above leading to positive impacts such as o Improvement of the academic performances of the pupils o Improvement of pupils' self-esteem and well-being.
This project will ensure that over 150 boarding boys have enough ,safe and clean bathroom and toilets. This will reduce the rate of children getting sick from dirty environment.
