Support Cocoa Farmers' Children with Bicycles in Ghana

By Adu Adjei | Project Manager

The distance school children are still walking miles to reach their schools. This wears out before they reach their schools. Ideally the children should stay in the community where their schools are, however, parents and guidance are working on their farms making them leaving together very difficult. The children therefore, are the ones to make the distance from the farming communities to their schools. We were able to raise about 450 dollars out of 15,000 we need to get a container full bicycles from Switzerland to Ghana. Since ACRO Ghana is a sports oriented organisation, we believe the bicycles would be used as sports as well as transport tools for these children.
