The Trust"s objective is to pay school fees, uniforms and textbooks among other children"s developmental obligations for the disadvantaged pupils in the rural ,resettlements of Midlands and Mashonaland West provinces in Zimbabwe. The pupils would return back to school and shall be given the opportunity to attend lessons. Two thousand pupils shall be catered by the project.
The challenge is that pupils are returned from school because they do not have funds to pay for school lessons. Their parents are peasant farmers who cannot afford the funds. The peasant farmers were allocated land by the government but that was not funded and there are no proper schools facilities , hence they needs money to cater for the facilities. The payment would make school authorities buy school books, furniture ,build normal classrooms.
Payment of school fees would make the pupils return to attend school lessons, increase pass rates due to textbooks and other consumables purchased by the school. The project areas consists of peasant farmers who spends less that two dollars per day hence they would be able to sent their children to school.
The school authorities would built toilets, proper classrooms ,good accommodation for teachers in the long run. The remote schools would be attractive to teachers and copy up with the new syllabus of information technology enhancement introduced by Ministry of Primary and Secondary schools. The pupils would be able to excel in their studies and be groomed tomorrow leaders. They would know that they are living in a global village where people assists each other.
