During the first week of July, Children had an art activity through which they thought about their dreams. It was a very positive and motivational activity for them and for us; after seeing those dreams we decide to try harder to get resources, volunteers, etc., so many of those dreams come true. SERVE IS A GIFT FROM THE UNIVERSE, SERVE IS A PRIVILEGE.

In the same month, we took the math contest winners to the Water Park in Bogotá; it was a very fun day for all.

In August we reinforce spelling and value appreciation and with great results for the improvement of children.

In september the kids planning a great party for the foundation director, they gave her more than 150 birthday cards

For October, we are planning a Halloween celebration.

What we hope to do in the last quarter of the year is gather funds to pay the Christmas’s party and also gifts for Children, and the dinner for all families in Christmas Eve.

Thanks all of you

During this quarter, we’ve had the opportunity to carry out different activities with children, enabling them to strengthen their knowledge and skills in the areas of math and literacy.

To achieve these objectives we have conducted a contest that ends next June 19th  called "WE ALL KNOW HOW MULTIPY AND WIN A TRIP AN AMUSEMENT PARK"

In hand with these activities to develop the intelligence, we performed many recreational and artistic events with the help of a professional expert in the field of education. These allowed us to determine that our children are happy children, that his/hers drawing speak of how good they feel and how loved they are. This achievement is of great proportion for Pintando Caminos because our main aim is that these children be recognized as important and valuable human beings.

For the second half of year, we hope to start a training program with the children’s families.

The goal with this activity is to improve their interaction skills with their children, the family members, and with the probability for the families to get an income and improve their quality of life.

Thanks to all of you who supported us on this semester.  We invited you to continue to invest in our project, and also invite all others to feel the privilege of transforming the stories of the children.
