Behavioral intervention training project

Summary

Intensive training program teaches parents techniques that improve communication and cooperative behavior in children with special needs. Teaching parents with necessary techniques will allow better management and support for children and reduce stress and burden for parents and teachers.

Challenge

Frustration of parents due to difficulty in dealing with children leads to abuse at home. This community if parents of children with special needs gave challenges when dealing with difficult behaviour. Helping parents learn better skills, will support the children to cope better with challenging behaviour.

Solution

Training parents on necessary skills needed on behavioural modification , activation and other techniques leads to better management and support for children with special needs.

Long-Term Impact

Educate 50 parents on behavioural intervention techniques, which in turn will reduce the the burden of parents in dealing with children and improve better coordination with teachers of the children in the long term.
