Challenge

At least every family in and around northern uganda was affected by kony massacres of innocent civilians especially children.5 out of 8 families lost a child either through abductions or just massacre. These families' pain and many survivors are still haunted by this gruesome past and their families psychologically tormented.life can never be the same. The country may forget and move on but the affected persons live in torment and psychological torture. The parents cling on helplessly.

Solution

This project is a relay of experiences and a near to these survivors torment and experiences during the abductions.Survivors and those that lost lives need to be remembered and their lives celebrated. The film relates these experiences and survivors struggle to survive amidst deceitful forced choices.it is a tribute to restore hope to those that lost children, limbs and self worth and build a base of rememberance and life continuity regardless of a bad history.

Long-Term Impact

The long term effect is to show impact of conflict and senseless actions so that they are never repeated. The suffering is only felt by victims and not the causers. This will act to educate and reconcile the different communities that have suffered. It will bring to the public eye the depth of tormrnt individual victims went throu or go through during senseless wars and help impact a sense of responsibility in leaders of tomorrow. But also draws sympathy for those still at large and in wilderness.
