2.3+ million dogs being killed in our animal shelters each year for no other reason than lack of space. This will raise funds as well as awareness & help find homes for adoptables!
More than 2.3 million dogs are put to sleep in shelters across America each year due to lack of space. Los Angeles has one of the highest kill rates in the country. This fundraiser will raise awareness that these dogs are amazing, sweet, friendly dogs who are just as deserving of homes as those from breeders, if not more so, in addition to raising money for our rescue to continue our life-saving efforts.
Wags and Walks saves dogs who are at risk in shelters and keeps them safe in foster homes until we can match them with a perfectly suited forever home. This program will drive awareness that dogs with shelters or rescues are not "damaged goods" and are nearly always in the shelter for no fault of their own.
The funds raised will allow us to continue to raise awareness through ongoing marketing. These funds can also be used as necessary to help us pay for medical and training needs for the dogs in our care.
