This projects aims at planting 50,000 avocados trees for 10,000 poor families. This will help these families to generate money and improve the nutrition.
The problem is extreme poverty in families which causes malnutrition in community. Families do not have income generating activities. This poverty extends its limit and has a big impact to community. Many children dropped out schools due to lack of school materials as their families are poor. There is a good number of children who are affected by malnutrition. They are not able to get medical care and other basic children rights. Poor families especially children will benefit from this project.
The project will plant five avocado trees for each target family. Avocados will serve as fruits which will play a great role in eradicating malnutrition. It will be also a great income generating activity as some avocados will be sold to get money. This money will help in children's education, medical care and other basic needs that the family needs to satisfy. We cannot forget that these avocado trees will be helping also in protecting environment and preventing erosion.
The long term of this project is that it will completely uproot extreme poverty in 10,000 families. Children from these families will no longer drop out from schools or miss medical care. Malnutrition will no longer harm these families as well. The surrounding communities will have opportunities to find avocados fruits around them. We may note also that industries that use avocados to produce various products will find them easily and increase their productions.
