Woods, water and campfire have once again played their life-renewing role in our 2009 summer season of wilderness trips. These elements, along with small-group community-building and faith sharing, combine to create the kind of intensely powerful life experience that so many campers strive to put into words:

Almost half of Amnicon campers this summer came from foster homes, reservations, inner city and low-income communities, or mental health related programs. Because of your care and financial support, Amnicon can provide the power of wilderness and Christian compassion to youth of all different backgrounds. In addition, your gift makes it possible for Amnicon to expand its collaboration with new inner-city programs as well as long-established ones. In the past two years alone Amnicon has experienced a doubling in the request for campership funds. Your donation greatly helps us meet these requests.
