Manipur state of India has the second highest infection by HIV in India. It has experienced ethnic conflicts and natural disasters in recent times.Some children have dropped out of schools and many of them will discontinue schooling if they are not supported. The project will help 300 children go to school by paying their monthly school fees of $10 in a month or $120 in a year. Parents will be relieve of financial burden and the children will get education.
India has 47 million youth of secondary and higher secondary school-going age dropping out of school, according to a report by the Montreal-based UNESCO Institute for for Statistics and Global Education Monitoring.
We will provide monthly tuition fees($10 a month per child or $120 per child in a year) to 300 poor children so that it will relief financial burden of parents and children will be prevented from drop outs
The project will benefit 300 families. The parents will be able to use their money which will be spent on education for nutrition and other domestic purposes.
