This project will support over 100 Post Breast/Cervical/Prostate Cancer and maternal health medical mission surgical patients in Anambra State, Nigeria, provide financial assistance with their hospital bills, complete their chemotherapy cycles and treatments.
ASA Women USA went on a cancer and maternal medical health mission in 2018 and over 100 underprivileged men, women & children were identified for breast, Cervical & Prostate Cancer surgeries, Uterine Fibroids, Utero-Vag Prolapse, Rt Ovarian Cyst, prostate surgeries, Hernias and Cataract. 31 patients have been operated on with an outstanding hospital bills of $10,600. We need help in paying the hospital bills, provide chemo, and assist the remaining 69 patients on waiting list for surgeries
We are hopeful that the project will assist AS Women USA in paying the outstanding hospital bills, assist the patients in completing the cycles of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, cover clinic visits, attend to the surgical interventions of all those patients on our waiting list, provide cancer awareness, advocacy and education
The project will change the lives of the 100 underprivileged patients with breast, cervical & prostate cancer & maternal health issues which will provide them with the chance for a better quality healthy life style with their families. They will be alive to celebrate more birthdays with their loved ones. The project will also raise cancer awareness and educate 3,000 men & women in various communities in Anambra State, Nigeria
