One of Extollo’s challenges is finding qualified instructors to teach our classes. We recently held Welding Instructor Try-Outs among our welding graduates to look for a diamond in the rough we could train up to join our training team.
Applicants joined for this 1-day event, showcasing their teaching skills in the morning and welding capabilities in the afternoon. The successful program identified two top performers, Rudy and John. With his great welding skills, Rudy will join our practicum program to expand his metal fabrication knowledge and provide hands-on instruction to level 1 students in the classroom. John is a great teacher. He’ll also work in the metal fabrication facility to sharpen his welding skills and gain more knowledge about the trade to better be able to respond to students’ questions. Both will have the opportunity to apprentice as trainers.
You make it possible for Extollo to offer programs that identify talent and create employment opportunities. We are so grateful for you!
