Dear Friends,
Firstly, I would like to thank everybody who donates to our project «Alternative lifestyle for Russian street children» during the Winter 2011 Open Challenge. Luckily we raised 4,275$ from 63 donors and it is your donations have helped us to receive permanent spot on GlobalGiving. Thank you very much for your support, responsiveness and faith in our success!
We have used donations received from 23rd of November to 31st of December to recruit a new group of young artists, to start circus training and the process of social adaptation with them. With your valuable help a group of 15 children aged from 8 to 16 for already 2 months attend trainings three times a week. While the kids continue to get involved, our social worker carefully gathering information about the families of the children and looking for ways to overcome the problems. It is important to notice that most we already have a plan of work and the prospects for personal development of each child.
Thanks to your efforts, we are convinced that we have friends and like-minded people!
We will continue to inform you about our progress and we hope that you will take part in the Upsala-Circus life and support our project in the future!
