This project aims to provide a sustainable supply of orthopaedic equipment to Ukrainian hospitals, so that they can better treat the influx of patients with gunshot wounds and other injuries. By delivering this essential equipment, we can help to save lives and reduce the suffering caused by this ongoing conflict.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has created an immense need for trauma support, specifically orthopedic services. With over 300,000 orthopedic cases and counting, Ukrainian medical facilities are overwhelmed and struggling to provide adequate care. In addition, the ongoing violence has displaced thousands of people, creating a further strain on resources. The situation is dire and urgent action is needed to ensure that people affected by the conflict receive the support they need.
Humanitarian efforts are a key part of the war effort. By providing aid to those in need, we not only help to save lives, but also make it possible for people to continue fighting. With this in mind, we are currently working closely with our Ukrainian partners to get critical trauma equipment. By working together, we are making a difference in the lives of those affected by the conflict and helping to ensure that the war effort can continue.
By supporting this project, we have the ability to impact hundreds of thousands of lives for years to come. The equipment provided by ORSI has the ability to save lives and limbs and reduce the negative impact of this conflict by reducing the number of individuals suffering from chronic pain and life long disabilities. In doing so not only do we improve their quality of life but also increase their productive potential and reduce the financial burden on their families and society as a whole.
