Challenge

Over 243 million people worldwide remains undiagnosed on diabetes and this also is due to the fact that most are unaware or ignorant of their health status. We therefore wish to contribute in mitigating the prevalence of diabetes mellitus through glucose screening and awareness creation.

Solution

Through awareness creation and free blood glucose screening, we would be able to identify those with higher blood glucose/sugar and therefore follow up with them in ensuring that they maintain a healthy lifestyle. While subsidising there medical treatment.

Long-Term Impact

This project through awareness creation and blood sugar screening, the project would be able to reduce the incessant death that arises due to the complications of diabetes mellitus. The project would also promote a healthy lifestyle among the community.
