Summary

*This project will develop the vocational skill of 100 migrant women of Bolangir district,odisha,India on Agarbati production , an alternative to reduce distress migration. *A producer company of trained women buildup to facilitate on credit linkage with banks,production,collective marketing and technology tie up . * Income of 100 trained women increase to 4500/- per month on regular basis. *Children's enrollment in schools increase through bridge course and supply of learning material .

Challenge

* Bolangir district is the epicenter of migration. Here drought and natural disaster almost seems once in every alternate year. The dependency on agriculture is gradually reducing due to erratic rainfall, uncertain weather, degradation of forest resource, soil erosion, distress sell of land, lab our and produce, searching for alternate and finally shifting from own vocation to migration to boarder state AP,CG , Maharastra. Women & children are victims and engaged in doing odd jobs at there

Solution

*The identified 100 migrant women will be trained in Agarbati making skill and collective marketing.It will help the participant to develop their confidence and tecnique to run Production soon after training . Each trainee will able to earn Rs 4500 to 5000 income per month.Raising income will motivate them to stop migration and work at own place. Dropout children will enroll in formal schools and continue classes.Further equipment and working funds required will mobilize from the project

Long-Term Impact

*Develop the vocational skill of 100 women to increase income to 4500/- per month. * Distress Migration will reduce to 50% . * Enrollment of dropouts in formal schools increase. *Better health and education with hands of migrants. *Leadership and bargaining power increased. *Entrepreneurship activities started at local level and having impact as a learning and let learning center.
