Planet Wheeler Foundation Supports TIA!

Dear friends of AfricAid,

Thank you for your support of our Teaching in Action (TIA) teacher training workshop!

We have some exciting news. Recently, AfricAid received news that the Planet Wheeler Foundation (http://www.planetwheeler.org/) has recognized TIA with a $20,000 grant. With this support, teachers from across Tanzania will have the opportunity to attend the workshop, and begin to deliver high-quality education to students in their classrooms. We are grateful that Planet Wheeler believes in TIA to such a high degree that they have made this incredible opportunity possible!

The Planet Wheeler Foundation was established in 2008 by the founders of Lonely Planet Publications. Planet Wheeler is based in Melbourne, Australia and currently funds over 60 projects in the developing world, with the mission of supporting practical and effective projects which make a difference in the alleviation of poverty.

Thank you so much for your support of this program! The workshop begins in just 8 days, and we look forward to providing you with a report once the workshop is complete!

With much appreciation, Ashley Shuyler Executive Director AfricAid
