Teaching in Action September Update

Hello AfricAid supporters,

Thank you, thank you for your generous support of our Teaching in Action program.  We concluded a wonderful session the last week of June 2012 at Mwenge University in Moshi, Tanzania.  52 teachers attended from all over the country.  They learned interactive teaching techniques, how to handle large classrooms of children, and creative ways to use readily available objects as teaching aids while forming a valuable network with other teachers.  We'll be visiting their schools throughout the year to reinforce the teachings and train whole schools.

This program would not be possible without your support.  Supporting teaching training enhances and supports the education of thousands of children across Tanzania.

Asante sana,
