In Russia, more than 7000 children of 0-5 y.o. live in orphanages. Most of them have got different health problems. Computerised axial tomography (CAT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are advanced methods used in medical diagnostics. Due to relatively high cost of these technologies, only a few orphanages can afford them. Donations are needed to carry CAT / MRI for making precise diagnosis and assigning effective therapy for orphaned babies, and thus to enhance their chances for adoption.
Everybody needs good health. Children of 0-5 y.o. need it most as it is time when basic skills and abilities are formed. Babies left without parental care need it even more as this is their chance to leave the orphanage to a family. Unfortunately, orphanages in Russia can't afford all range of modern diagnostic methods due to limited financing. This situation refers to MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and CAT (computerized axial tomography) testing.
We will pay for MRI and CAT procedures for children living in Kostroma orphanage for babies (Central Russia). The claimed amount will cover 15 MRI tests and 10 CAT tests.
25 orphaned babies will get better opportunities for rehabilitation: due to effective cure and due to enhanced chances to continue their development within fostering family.
