As is the case with most nonprofits, we have seeen changes and shifts in our programs and services in the months since the covid crisis began. It has been a learning curve and an opportunity to reach in new directions and explore new paths.
While our education and therapy dog programs are paused, we have expnaded our rescue and outreach in ways we never dreamed. This year we have received and placed more than 40 pets in need. Our foster roster has increased dramatically and our ability to be ready for intake once Joshua's House opens will be stronger because of it.
Our outreach program has assisted many local pet owners in need with the distribution of hundreds of pounds of dog food and pet supplies. We now have connections to the Sacramento Homeless Union and Loaves and Fishes to assist their populations when needed.
We are proud of the assistance we've been able to offer, and look forward to improving our reach and assistance abilities in the months to come.
It because of your support that we are able to help others. Thank you!
