Having just finished the school holiday period all minds are now tuned back to learning in the classroom. But it is good to appreciate other forms of learning too. Some of the best and most important learning comes from casual but directed interactivity with good role models. Rubbing shoulders with these children and doing something we both love so much is a great learning experience. The energies are poured into life-shaping experiences that effect both the mind and body in such a wholesome way. Some of our kids spent everyday of the holidays at the Social Hall fine tuning their acrobatic prowess. A safe and fun environment gives these kids a chance that most kids from such a slum like Kayole can't have.
You have contributed to this framework of constructive learning. Your gifts have gone into shaping the lives of some 40 kids into more focused and disciplined kids ready to take life's challenges more sturdily. Thank you for your donations. No matter how small or large, they ARE making a difference. You have also given us confidence that we are not are line in trying to make are line better future for our kids. Please for the sake of the kids with us and the ones to come - keep it up. And tell others how they can get involved.
Thanks and God bless you richly,
Dear Change Makers,
Well, here we are still trying to raise funds for the Kayole Kids doing acrobatics.
Through the many struggles that were last year including an elongated and disruptive election period, we haven't tried to push the fund raiser so much yet. The need is still there though, and we appreciate your help in raising what we have so far. Hopefully before the coming school holidays, we will reach our funding target so we can launch the school holiday program with a 'bounce'! Stay tuned for more info.
You help is necessary to our success. Please spread the word and make a big job small through many hands.
May God bless your generous help.
