Social Accountability Monitoring (SAM) is an important aspect for improved performance in agriculture sector. Enhancing advocacy skills to farmers will make them demand rights and monitor how the public sector is accountable as regards allocation,distribution and management of resources,especially in the local authorities,Farmers will have united one voice. Allocation of budget, for agriculture will be at least 10 percent according to Malabo declaration hence reduced poverty .
There is increased low social accountability in the agriculture sector for which 98 percent of Tanzania population depend on it.This resulting into low allocations. Normally the allocation are less than 5% and this limiting growth of the sector. A few resources allocated are not well managed in a well ,transparent and accountable manner. By promoting skills of farmers on the respective aspect advocacy on small scale farmers, rights will increase,hence enable them to remind the government .
it will promote small scale awereness on their duty to demand social accountability as regards allocation,distribution and management of all refources in the Agriculture Sector. At last the voice of small scale farmer will be heard,and the government will be responsible to allocate equitqble resouces for this sector.By doing this small scale farmer will be rescued from poverty,
