Stree Mukti Sanghatana has recently built a Multipurpose Activity and Training Center for Women and their children who are victims of domestic violence or dowry abuse, in order to offer respite, rehabilitation and a new life. The centre accommodates 25 victimized women and their children for a period of 3 months, and provides a Day Care Centre to care for the development of the women's children during their stay, training and legal counselling for an additional 100 non-resident women.
