A little goes a long way

by The CityHope Trust

CityHope Disaster Relief provides relief aid to the most vulnerable of human beings at a time when disaster strikes. Whether it's a flood; a drought; social & politically motivated unrest, we are here to provide a measure of comfort and dignity to those worst affected. HELP us today by donating funds which are used to ensure that each victim receives a relief kit which comprises of food, sanitary provision and hygiene products to help during the height of the catastrophe.

As an NGO, it is extremely difficult to source funding for projects that suddenly impact us. Fellow human beings and funders are more prone to donating cash and goods to organisations that have an ongoing critical need for food and provision. We however, require funding for the sourcing and procurement of supplies for those who fall victim to the sudden onset of disaster. This is where we call on anyone for assistance - to help those MOST vulnerable. Disasters DO NOT discriminate.

Ongoing funding will enable CityHope Disaster to consistently supply disaster victims of both small and large-scale calamities with an impressing need for food, hygiene & sanitary products as and when the need arises.

Long-Term Impact

Given our experience and the field in which we work, we have learnt that by assisting disaster victims on the ground and providing relief aid has given hope where there is often none. By providing a simple meal; the warmth of a blanket or even just a band-aid victims feel that someone truly cares about their well-being. This inspires a person to rebuild their lives and to cope with the tragedy that has been bestowed upon them.
