Be a hero for vulnerable children in Mexico
This photograph shows a father reading a story to his young son. During the COVID-19 pandemic, poverty, confinement, and stress have increased dramatically in Oaxaca, Mexico. Crecemos DIJO has promoted family reading to strengthen the relationship between parents and children. Even fathers, who culturally are less involved in their children’s education, have been using reading as a “new way” of hugging their kids, as a new act of love.
